Following a tough couple of years in which your wheelie bin went out more times than you probably did and copious amounts of rain spoilt the fun, we are all set to bring back the Icarus X in 2022.
So heed our rallying cry to all those pilots made of the sternest stuff. Those pilots that have been tucked away without adventure. Emerge from your homes, dust down your flight suit, and take to the skies once more for the ultimate in cross-country Paramotor adventure racing.
2022 will also see a Team Class alongside the typical Race and Adventure Trophies, a first for the Icarus X. So don’t just sign yourself up…
When?
BACK FOR 2022
The Icarus X Series is hoping to return to the West Country for what promises to be the ultimate in cross-country Paramotor adventure racing.
Orchard Park Farm, Shepton Mallet is nestled in the heart of the Somerset countryside and a stone’s throw from Parajet’s backyard. Here, the course is set to inspire and give a new take on the South West, delivering adventure and challenge at every turn. Think rolling hills, pints of cider, truckles of cheese, and probably the odd cow or two.

The Icarus X Series is better when you share the experience with family and friends. So please feel free to invite them along to kick back and enjoy the spectacle of paramotor adventure racing.
It's a weekend - so there are no excuses!
We are delighted to be able to offer camping facilities so your loved ones can join you for a celebratory drink when you finish. There will also be some hot grub available for pilots at the finish line and on a cash-only basis for supporters. Free coffee, teas, and water will be available to all throughout the weekend.

Entry for Race or Adventure Class
Registered pilots can form a team of two, and be eligible for a separate trophy.
For that, you get:

A shot at the Race, Adventure, or Team Trophies

Icarus X Series 2022 - Future Events
We are excited to announce that the Icarus X paramotor adventure racing series will be returning to various locations across the globe, including the USA, South Africa, and Spain. Each Icarus X Series event will be a 2-3 day small-group expeditionary style foray across some of the most extraordinary and epic landscapes.
